Wildland Fire Courses

Classes Offered as In-person, Remote or Hybrid

Course Delivery Methods

In-person (Face to Face): Traditional learning, measured by "required in-person meetings" incorporating lectures, laboratories, field days and/or simulations at a designated location. 

Remote/VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training): Online course that eliminates geography between instructor and student. A web-based, technology enhanced course facilitated and driven by an instructor, using tools such as ZOOM and Google Sites.

Hybrid (Blended Delivery): A multi-format course that requires a combination of delivery methods. For example, VILT/Online lecture in combination with required In-person meeting(s) between student and instructor.

Self-directed  (Independent Study): Students complete course at a distance, with limited to no instructor interaction to complete the course.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: All cancellations must be received 48 hours, two days, prior to delivery to receive a refund. A full refund will be issued within 48 hours of the refund request.
