Thank you for your interest in INSTRUCTING Backcountry First Aid/CPR classes for Clackamas Community College (CCC). 

This course was designed to meet the needs of volunteers and agency personnel that work in the woods. It differs from standard workplace first aid and CPR in that it addresses the unique situations and environments that volunteer trail workers, forest recreation staff, foresters and wildland firefighters might encounter. This is an introductory course that introduces and develops core skills to help injured or sick people in backcountry situations. This course also includes CPR and AED training and certification.

What are we looking for?

Individuals with experience in the areas listed in the description above as well as what our partner ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) requires in order to instruct the classes and issue certification cards to students upon completion.  You must be qualified in one of the following (per ASHI):

The hourly pay rate for this position is $63.35 per hour for instructional time.  All other time would be paid at $37.94 per hour.
